Stoneville produces bespoke table tops for both individual furniture pieces and larger residential and commercial projects. Each tabletop can be fabricated to specified dimensions, drawings and design requirements, allowing the finished surface to be made specifically for the furniture rather than restricted to standard sizes.

Applications can include dining table tops, kitchen tables, restaurant tables, café tables, coffee tables, side tables, console tables, meeting tables, retail display tables, desks and other bespoke furniture surfaces.

Table tops can be rectangular, square, circular, oval, racetrack-shaped or individually shaped to suit a particular furniture design. Marble Table Tops

Marble table tops are particularly suited to bespoke and made-to-measure furniture because every natural marble slab has its own colour, veining and character. Stoneville can assist with material selection and fabricate marble tabletops to the required dimensions, shape and details.

Depending on the design, bespoke marble table tops can incorporate substantial built-up edges, shaped profiles, curved elements, polished or honed finishes and carefully selected vein orientation. Where appropriate, slabs can also be selected and arranged for book-matching and vein continuity.

Quartzite Table Tops

Stoneville also fabricates bespoke quartzite table tops and made-to-measure quartzite tabletops. Quartzite offers the individual colour, veining and movement of natural stone and can be used to create distinctive dining tables, coffee tables, console tables, meeting tables and other furniture.

For a bespoke quartzite table top, the position of the piece within the slab can be considered before cutting so that the natural pattern and movement of the stone work with the shape and proportions of the finished table.

Stoneville Recycled Eco Glass Table Tops

Stoneville Recycled Eco Glass provides a distinctive alternative to natural stone for glass table tops and recycled glass tabletops. Stoneville EcoGlass can be fabricated into bespoke and made-to-measure table tops for dining tables, coffee tables, side tables, restaurant tables, retail display furniture, meeting tables and other applications.

The colour, texture and translucent appearance of Stoneville Eco Glass make the material particularly suitable for statement furniture. The translucent qualities of the recycled glass can also be incorporated into designs using lighting or backlighting to emphasise the depth, colour and character of the material.

Stoneville Recycled EcoGlass offers strong sustainability credentials and contains zero crystalline silica and no resin or glue. The recycled glass can be fabricated to individual dimensions and combined with suitable timber, metal or other furniture bases.

Glass Table Tops & Recycled Glass Tabletops

Our glass table tops are fabricated from Stoneville Recycled Eco Glass rather than conventional transparent sheet glass. The recycled glass has its own colour, texture, depth and translucent character, allowing it to become a prominent part of a bespoke furniture design.

Eco Glass tabletops can be made to measure for individual private commissions or fabricated as multiple pieces for restaurants, hotels, cafés, retail interiors and other commercial projects.

In addition to marble and quartzite, Stoneville can fabricate bespoke table tops in granite and other suitable natural stones. Material can be selected according to the required colour, pattern, surface finish and intended use of the finished furniture.

Material Selection

Table tops are fabricated to project requirements rather than standard furniture dimensions. Depending on the material and design, our fabrication work can include precision cutting, shaping, mitring, profiling, drilling, cut-outs, edge finishing, polishing, honing, cladding and assembly of fabricated stone components.

This allows Stoneville to produce relatively simple made-to-measure tabletops as well as more complex pieces incorporating fabricated legs, boxed sections, substantial edges, waterfall details and stone-clad structures.
